Sahara Care’s Sharon Kaur has been specially selected to join the distinguished judging panel for the forthcoming Sikh Awards 2016.
The prestigious event, which is nearing its seventh birthday, will celebrate the achievements and contributions of individuals from a range of multicultural backgrounds and faiths, at London’s Park Plaza Hotel, on Saturday 19 November 2016.
Upon recognising Sharon Kaur’s considerable achievements under Sahara Care, The Sikh Awards 2016 has sent Sharon a personal invitation to form part of a panel of five judges – each of whom are nationally recognised as established leaders in their specific area of work.
Commenting on the invitation, Sharon Kaur, founder and managing director of Sahara Care, said: “It is a real honour to be personally selected to join the panel of judges at such a phenomenally prestigious event.
“I am delighted to have been asked to judge – although I must admit I am a little nervous about appearing on TV!”
Sharon Kaur recently attended a one-day group judging session on Monday 8 August. She will be joining the judging panel again at the televised event later this year – which will also be attended by international media representatives.
